It’s only been a week, but Aberdeen Asset Management has decided to lift the suspension it put on investors withdrawing their cash from its UK property fund.

The fund manager cut the value of the fund by 17% and temporarily suspended withdrawals last week, extending the suspension period twice.

“The market may take time to find its level. Investors should be aware that the price may be adjusted on a daily basis to reflect the funds’ requirement to provide liquidity and the need to protect all investors,” said Aberdeen chief executive Martin Gilbert.
